My cats were very put out this weekend when I kept moving them off of the wrapping paper that I clearly put down for THEM to lay on, so WHY was I MOVING them? Ugh I’m such a jerk.

He specializes in noticing the small details others miss, and over the past decade has built an impressive archive of cereal photos that explore the texture, color and marketing wrapped up in these niblets of nourishment. “When I started I really didn’t know that I would have so much fertile ground to explore,” says Button, who lives in Phoenix, Arizona. The idea for the project, punnily called Cerealism, came to him one day while walking down the cereal aisle of a local grocery store. Button says he was looking around and suddenly saw a box of King Vitamin (his favorite cereal as a kid) sitting next to a box of Choco Donuts. The contrast of the King Vitamin 1970s box design with its bright yellow cereal compared to the more contemporary Choco Donuts box design with it dark brown cereal immediately set off a light bulb. “For whatever reason there was something vibrant there that I wanted to explore,” he says. I realize that people have probably already posted about this, but it really can’t be said enough times.  don’t give your money to TWLOHA.  don’t recommend them to suicidal people or anyone looking for a charity to donate to.  and sorry, but taking five seconds to write “love” on your wrist in sharpie and taking a shitty instagram pic of it isn’t going to help anyone.

I was not aware of this, but upon a little research it certainly seems accurate.
